Super accommodation, hospitality and home baked food. We felt very welcome and enjoyed cooling down in the natural pool (new experience)! The area is also beautiful with lots to do and Stephen gives great advice on where to go etc. The locally sourced food was yummy and interesting, thanks Jackie. We would definitely stay again.  Stayed February 2016.

Stephen and Jackie Young give you a warm and detailed welcome to their beautiful property and ensure that absolutely everything you could need is available. They take a personal interest in each guest and are keen to share their detailed knowledge of the Swellendam area. Make sure you are available for canapes and a glass wine at 19h00 before strolling to one of the many excellent nearby restaurants. Don't miss the gourmet breakfast.  January 2016

Would recommend in a heart beat! Great hosts and beautiful guest house! Simply idyllic. The natural pool has to be the main feature of the premises and Stephen and Jackie were great hosts. The home made bread, ham, shortbread etc and the attention to detail were second to none. I just can't fault it at all and hope to return one day.  January 2016

The guest house is run by an English couple: Jackie and Stephen, who are very knowledgeable and can help you to plan trips around the area. Jackie is a great cook! She produced homemade lemonade and biscuits on our arrival and breakfast here was amazing!  Everything is thought of here, with homemade shortbread in a jar to have with your tea/coffee in the room and a little drawer that contained a few things that that you may have forgotten to bring along with you on your trip - even umbrellas are stored by the door!  December 2015

Wow! Beautiful place, roomy & comfortable accommodations, incredible breakfast and hosts that always tried to go the extra mile. We forgot our I-pod in the docking station and Stephen DROVE 15 min. to the park we were visiting for a hike and left a note on our car so we could stop by to collect it before leaving town! There are so many more little touches that make this place special: a glass of wine in the garden before going out to eat, a wonderful bathtub to soak in, a breakfast with homemade baked goods, all-local products from butter to sausages and much more. It was a bit chilly when we were there for a swim in the very large outdoor natural pool, but it was great to look at it. My only regret is that we only had one night to stay. Thank you Jackie & Stephen.  November 2015
